Pronin working with Cheshire East Highways has delivered a CSR project involving surfacing works to improve the condition of a footpath to benefit local residents in Nantwich.
Following concerns from local residents about the poor condition of the footpath between Clonners Field and Cronkinson Oak on the Stapeley estate, and a land registery search that returned a lack of ownership, we stepped in to resurface the footpath at no cost. The project was delivered by partner organisations Pronin and Amberon, who delivered the scheme in support of Ringway Jacobs’ Corporate Social Responsibility Programme.
Councillor Peter Groves said, “I have already had a number of residents contact me to say what a superb job you have made of it and what a pleasure it is to walk on.”
“A huge thank you. Councillor Andrew Martin and I are both personally really grateful for all the time and effort.”
Local resident, Nannette Crump said, “I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone involved in getting the footpath made good. It looks great and I am sure it will be really appreciated by all the residents of Stapeley and anyone that uses it as a cut through, whilst removing what was an eyesore in some respects. I will really appreciate not having to constantly clean muddy shoes.”

Pronin - Fantastic to have our hard work recognised

After months of hard work we completed the Queens Park, Crewe, Restoration. The scheme was completed safely, on time and on budget.

The Grade 2 listed park was opened in 1887, given to the people of Crewe by the London and North Western Railway Company. Working in such a special place demanded the utmost care and attention.

We renewed approximately 5,000 metres of footway around the park, built granite steps and laid over 5,000m of edging.

The Friends of Queens Park offered their thanks "We have been impressed by your consideration in helping us to keep access to the park during the process, by your friendliness and by your commitment to the task during such a wet and windy winter. On behalf of all park users thank you very much indeed"
